Bio

Anna is a freelance award-winning set and costume designer from Italy working internationally.

She graduated in Design before completing a Masters in Theatre Studies in Venice. She trained with set and costume designer Paul Brown under Graham Vick’s guidance.

Anna has since collaborated on a number of international productions in the major opera theatres of the world such us Teatro La Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Opera di Roma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Zurich Opernhaus.

Selected credits include: Turandot at Teatro Massimo di Palermo (Italy) directed by Alessandro Talevi; Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno at Buxton International Festival (UK) directed by Jacopo Spirei; Don Giovanni at Opera di Roma (Italy) directed by Graham Vick; Savitri and The Blonde Eckbert at GSMD (UK) directed by Ashley Dean; Il Paese dei Campanelli at Festival della Valle d’Itria (Italy) directed by Alessandro Talevi; Pagliacci at Sferisterio Macerata (Italy) directed by Alessandro Talevi;

She was the first prize recipient designer of Fondazione Teatro Donizetti 2019 contest with Don Gaetano - a speed date with a site specific immersive performance written and directed by Davide Marranchelli about the life of the composer Gaetano Donizetti.

She has worked as a Production Designer for Ora Singers in London - a choir ensemble committed to producing the best of choral music conducted by Suzi Digby and presided by Stephen Fry. She designed the launch concert Tallis and the Tides of Love at the Cutty Sark Museum, the Christmas concerts at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea and St. Mary-le-Bow Church in Cheapside, as well as the Renaissance tour in the UK.
